It is a governed connection. Codebeamer remains responsible for Requirements, tests, risks, changes, and release evidence; GitLab remains responsible for Issues, repositories, commits, merge requests, pipelines, and delivery execution. AroTrace maps selected projects, object types, fields, values, and relationships according to an explicit operating design.
GitLab development artifacts and Codebeamer lifecycle records use different identities and do not create a governed requirement-to-code relationship by themselves. Behavior is therefore confirmed for the versions, permissions, deployment, direction, and use case rather than inferred from the product names.
